This anonymous military quote is a favorite of my dad’s and I grew up with it engrained into me as vital to the call to service. As a Marine platoon leader in Viet Nam, my father knew firsthand what the price of freedom was for America. For me, the call to duty, is preparing to pay the ultimate price and moving forward even in the presence of fear.
